Pricing
Every figure on this page is in Kenyan shillings. The headline price on each card is what you pay including 16% VAT; the shilling amount before VAT is printed underneath it, because that is the figure your accounts want. One platform — desktop and mobile, every MDM (Google, Apple, Samsung, Huawei), the public stolen-device registry, and the asset-finance loan book — for one number.
Invoices are eTIMS-compliant Kenyan tax invoices, issued in shillings with our KRA PIN on them, and are payable by M-Pesa paybill (the invoice number is the account reference, and the receipt reconciles itself in seconds), card, or bank transfer. We are registered in Kenya, so the VAT we charge you is VAT you can claim back.
Three ways to buy
Self-serve
Shops, SMEs, schools, NGOs. Card or M-Pesa, no salesperson, no minimum.
- Published rates, no quote needed
- Every MDM rail and the desktop agent
- Falls to KES 23.20 inc VAT at 100 devices
- Cancel any month
Contract-life metering
Phone-on-credit lenders and SACCOs. You pay for the days a contract is alive, prorated to the day, and you stop paying the day it settles.
- Metered per contract, not per handset
- Settled, repossessed and written-off contracts sit in the archive free, forever
- Prorated daily — a contract signed on the 20th costs eleven days, not a month
- Lock, unlock, collections, KYC and the registry included
- Month-to-date meter and CSV in your console
Enterprise
Volume rates, on-prem options and a named engineer.
- Volume and multi-year rates
- On-prem or private-cloud deployment
- Custom integrations and data feeds
- DPIA and pen-test review included
- Phone support, 1h SLA
Free tier
25 devices or 25 contracts, free. Not a trial and not a countdown — it does not expire. The free tier is feature-complete: every MDM rail, lock and unlock, the loan book, KYC, collections, the public registry, and your eTIMS invoices if you ever move up.
The two things it leaves out are bulk operations (mass enrol, mass lock, bulk import and export) and the API. Both are what you need at scale, and scale is where we start charging.
Work out your number
Shilling figures, VAT shown separately. Annual is billed as ten months — two months free.

An indication, not a quote. Metered contract billing is measured on real contract-days in your console, so a month where half your book settles costs half as much as this estimate.

What's a "device"?
Any endpoint enrolled in TraceGadget: laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, TVs with serial numbers, cameras. The same endpoint counts once across desktop + MDM + agent surfaces.
What's an "active contract"?
A loan contract from the day it is signed until the day it settles — paid off, repossessed, written off or cancelled. Days are counted in Kenyan calendar days and prorated across the month, so the month length never changes the price. Once a contract settles it stays in your archive, searchable and exportable, at no charge.
Common questions
Annual vs monthly? Both. Annual gets 2 months free. Quoted on request.
Set-up fee? None for Starter or Standard. Enterprise has a one-time onboarding ranging KES 50,000 – 200,000 depending on scope.
Is VAT included? The headline price on each card includes 16% VAT; the pre-VAT figure sits underneath it. Your invoice shows both, separately, as a Kenyan tax invoice must.
How do I pay? M-Pesa paybill with the invoice number as the account reference (it reconciles itself in seconds), card, or bank transfer.
Do you charge in dollars? No. Shillings, from a Kenyan company, on an eTIMS-compliant invoice — so the VAT is recoverable for you.
What about the public verification registry? Always free for citizens. Always.
Can I see how we compare? Yes — TraceGadget vs ThinkAdam / Jamf / Microsoft Intune.
